Marketing Event Logistics Coordinator

Description:The Event Logistics Coordinator will work as an important part of the marketing team and will be responsible for the coordination and support of the shipping logistics for trade shows, sales events, as well as assisting in the preparation for each event.

In charge of the shipping/receiving coordination of up to 215+ events per year.

Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision.

The event logistics coordinator should have a love for shipping logistics, provide outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic professional, and be able to build relationships with internal and external customers.
Duties:Support includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Shipping to/from tradeshows, sales events, seminars and meetings.
• Work with our shipping logistics provider to arrange all shipments.
• Must pack and unpack all shipments.
• Manage the day to day tracking and arrival/departure of shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Responsible for meeting shipping deadlines.
• Data entry into our Event Management software and Excel.
• Many other projects that require quick data entry and ability to manage multiple spreadsheets at one time.
• Will contribute to the company’s blog by writing blog posts about our events.
• Continual follow-up with venues, sales team and marketing team on event activities.

Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 years of experience working in fast-paced organization in which he/she effectively drove projects to completion in a timely fashion. He/she will be able to successfully implement each trade show shipping plan. He/she will be able to work efficiently with outside vendors and other employees in all departments.

This person will be able to work within tight deadlines and handle multiple projects. Experience with trade show coordination/event planning a plus.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
• Excellent organizational and project management skills required
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a quickly changing environment
• Self-driven and independent
• Excellent oral and written communications skills required
• 1-2 years of experience in trade show coordination and shipping logistics preferred, but not necessary.

Must have a high level of enthusiasm and pay very close attention to detail.
